Quetzalcoatl and Xolotl traveled to Mictlan to gather the bones of an extinct race. Using the remains Quetzalcoatl breathed new life into them and inhabited the world we know with new life. This decorative knife celebrates the two twins and their collaboration to create the world we live in. It is made of a set of coyote jaws and carved buffalo horn held together with artificial sinew. All artwork is hand-carved into the bone and horn.

In aztec mythology some stories tell of a giant caiman creature that lived in the worlds waters, Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca hunted the caiman, and make the world we know from it's body parts. The feather wrap represents the caiman. The handle is made from snake shed, it is sealed in resin to protect from wear. 3 glass beads representing the sky, earth, and sea, basic elements used in the creation of the world.
